What? Yep, you heard me, Go BIG or go home!
As we head into Fall, it's important to us gals that we have a few tips to know how to look like we know what's going on in the fashion world or if we got left behind....life can do that to you, ya know. One day you wake up and realize that everything you're wearing is still from the 80's (especially in the accessory department) and here it is, 2011.
So that's where I come in.....Fall Fashion 101....help for the not-so-savvy....and for the savvy-savvy!
Last week I told you about the style of purse you should get this fall (the handheld bag) and this week we're gonna talk about ONE accessory.
You, however, get to pick what that ONE thing is. It might be a ring. It might be a pair of earrings or sunglasses. Whatever it is, however, it's important you go BIG! That's right, even you Glamour Girls and Movie Stars can go BIG like the Rock Stars, as long as we're talking about only ONE piece. Don't go crazy all over with BIG stuff, just pick ONE and let it be your stand alone, rockin' accessory that stands out in a crowd. It may even be a fabulous scarf or wrap. The way to make it work for you depending on size is the print...if you're a Glamour Girl (5'3" and under), go for a small to medium print or graphic; if you're a Movie Star (5'3"-5'8"), then go medium to large print and Rock Stars(5'8" and up), well, you know what to do!
For me, my motto has always been:
"It doesn't have to be real, it just has to be REAL BIG!"
And of course, being the Rock Star that I am at 5'11" I can do all things BIG, but if you are NOT a Rock Star and tend to be a Glamour Girl or Movie Star then stick to the one thing.

Hey Shari! Its so good to have you back. I've missed you. Ugh! Just last week I was at a clothes swap & eyed a BIG pair of sunglasses. The person who was with me said they were too big for me so I put them down. I actually liked them but walked away b/c of her advice. Now I'm wishing I had taken them anyway. Oh, well! Thanks for the great advice for fall.

I'm all about necklaces. Just bought a few new ones, and they are BIG!
I've been eying the tassel style earrings for awhile...they are IN right now, big time...I think I might get a pair, esp. since I just chopped off all my hair into a pixie cut. :D
I just ordered some long dangly earrings. 9 inches long. :)
