Day 19 Challenge: Frumpy to Fabulous!

Day 19 Challenge

Part A: Inventory your spring/summer shoes. This, again, is an area where you cannot be FABULOUS without some new shoes each season! I mean, a girl needs shoes, right?
You do NOT have to spend a lot of money. I got a darling pair of leopard print wedge sandals at Payless this week and a pair of gold small wedge flats that I will wear with most of my wardrobe this summer. It was BoGo and both pairs cost less than $40…total. Some of you may have more money to spend on your shoes…sometimes I do, but not this season. But I do want to be updated for spring and shoes and accessories are the best way to do this! (Check out different stores online before you head out to shop.)

Part B: Now that your shoes are inventoried, what do you need? A pair of metallic sandals or sparkly ballet flats will go with much of your spring wardrobe. A pop of color like orange, blue, pink or green, will add zest to your outfits in the way of shoes. You will likely need 2-3 pair of shoes to wear with both your wardrobes…Majority and Minority…I’m not saying 2-3 for EACH, I’m saying 2-3 TOTAL.

Add to your S.H.O.P.  list the needed items.

Now you will SPRING to LIFE in your new SHOES!

Don’t forget to Vote for Susie Mag!!!

I will be traveling to Birmingham, AL today for a weekend women’s conference so my comments to your questions may not be as quick…but I’ll catch up when I return. Would covet your prayers for the women attending the event at CrossPoint Church….and safe travels. Love you!

I separated all of my Winter/Fall shoes from my Spring/Summer shoes when I was weeding out my clothes. I found that I have a lot of Spring/Summer shoes. However, I will need a pair of silvery metallic sandals & black wedges (I know black isn't necessarily a Spring color but it is the best neutral shoe color for me.) Also, when you have the opportunity (if you haven't already), can you read my comment from Day 14 Challenge and offer some suggestions, please?

I too have gone through my shoes during this month. I have recently bought a pair of metallic gold sandals at Payless - love them! Now with the BOGO, I will go back to see what else I can find.

Praying for you...

Love love love my sparkly ballet flats. Two questions (when you get a minute).
1. When you said 3-4 tops per bottom does that mean you need 12-16 total tops for 4 bottoms or just be sure 3-4 tops match each bottom (fewer total)?
2. What is a good go-to outfit for a formal summer wedding (outdoors)?

Okay Ladies, I know today we are talking about shoes but I have to share this news! I went in for a bra fitting today and found out that I have been wearing the wrong size bra. Even though this part of the challenge can seem intimidating, I must say with Shari, it is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! The proper bra makes all the difference! I have NEVER been this excited about owning new bras! I honestly think that if I had the money I would have purchased a bra in every bra they had in my size! Now Ladies, please do make time to go in for a bra fitting. I did not go to one of the fancy boutiques. I went to my local Dillard's department store, and although this could have turned out to be a horrible event (salesgirl issue...won't go into detail), I did get a lady who was really knowledgeable and was a great help. She knew what size I was before even measuring me. She also correctly guessed what wrong sized bra I was currently wearing. I ended up buying 3 bras right at $100 but they were so worth the investment!

Hey girls, sitting here in my hotel room in Alabama and have some time to answer questions!
Way to go, Daisha on the bra hunt! Whoohooo....isn't it fantastic to get a new bra (or 3) that make us look so good in our clothes? Yay!!! Thanks for sharing!

And to Anonymous: 3-4 tops PER bottom...making it 12-16 tops total. And for a summer wedding/event, a beautiful silk shift dress in a pop color or depending on your body type, if you are a bit fullter, then dress that has a cross over front with a pretty flair skirted bottom...add beautiful accessories and a pretty heel and you're good to go! Next week, hope to show some pics!

And thanks for praying all!!!! Love you!
