Day 13
Challenge
Today has
been one busy day as my son is part of the Homecoming Court at his school (he’s
a Senior) and I get to escort him so we had practice today! Fun, right? Thus
the delay in this post.
Our challenge
today is short, but kind of hits on the sentimental or maybe just plain old
side of things. It has to do with Winter Coats and other outer wear.
How many
coats are in your closet? If you live where it’s cold on a regular basis in
wintertime, then you’re likely to have more than a few.
Today’s challenge is to
try on each and every one of these and look in the mirror. Does it still fit?
Is it in a color that flatters you? For you Soft gals, how about passing on
your black coats to someone else? If you answered ‘yes’ to the first two
questions, then let’s see if it passes this test…did you wear it last winter or
has it been hanging in your closet for awhile getting no use? If you can’t
remember wearing it last year, or even the year before that, it’s time to bless
someone else with it. Promise me?
What about
those casual jackets you wear on days that aren’t bitter cold…do you have to
many of those? Golf jackets, exercise jackets, rain gear, sweatshirts for game
day?
Only keep
coats that absolutely flatter you and ones you wear, otherwise take them to Goodwill, Salvation Army or Consignment store…let
someone else wear them this winter.
Now I’m off
to more Homecoming festivities…Powder Puff Game and Bonfire…gotta run!
Love ya!
Shari

Cherish this time with your son; time flies by quickly.
I have a winter coat and denim jacket that no longer fit; thinking of contacting the consignment store.
