Leggings are Not Pants

It seems there are some (many) women and teens that don't know this but, drumroll:

Leggings are meant to be worn with a longer style top and one that is at least 4-6 inches longer than your booty.

Girls, please don't leave the house in leggings with short, regular style shirts as in picture shown.

And mama, please don't wear them either.

Sometimes a post just needs to be short and sweet.

love you girls!

I've never seen leggings worn as pants but, I do see women wearing pajamas to the grocery store and Wal-Mart. Just as inappropriate.

Amen! I see this all the time! Short tops and leggings, just a really bad look!! Leggings are not for everyone either. I think women really need to take a good honest look and see if leggings even suit their body type. Not everyone looks like the models in these posts! I have seen the pajama pants too, typically with dirty flip flops. What are people thinking, I wonder. They need your book Shari! :) Karen

OMGosh! I was thinking the same thing! In my neck of the woods, it is not uncommon to see at least 5-10 women/teens in this get up. I agree that leggings are not for every body type, nor are they to be worn as pants, EVER!

You're preachin' to the choir Shari! Unfortunately, the gals who sport this look, aren't reading your blog!

A woman in my husband's office dresses this way almost daily. Even if she were svelte (and whoa, she's not!), this would look terrible and takes Business Casual to a new level! It's hard to take someone seriously who looks as though she's forgotten to put on her skirt!
