Feeling Good Today!

Oh my, it's been a few days since I've blogged but I'm sure the world is no less fashionable because of it. I had a whirlwind thursday, friday and saturday in Kinston, NC speaking at a teen event and women's event, then home all day sunday only to be without power and phones from 4:30pm to 6am Monday morning and out again last night to speak in Charlotte.
Someone asked me tonight how I do it....what do you mean, I ask? She wanted to know how I wasn't completely exhausted and there really is only one answer. It's called "calling". I really feel called to this stuff. I can't help it...I love it, I get exhillerated by it and I don't get tired...till I drop in bed and realize my feet really hurt. I prayed saturday morning that God would make my boots the most comfortable I'd ever had on my feet, cause they were killing me. And He did...honestly. I didn't feel them until I was walking in the airport to find my car at the end of it all.
All this to say, I love what I do. I love that God has called me to this. I am grateful beyond words to be able to have my passion and ministry all rolled up into one. Just feeling good today! Tomorrow I'll answer another fashion question. Until then...Love you, Shari

I soo know exactly what you mean Shari when you're answering God's call it just doesn't seem like it is hard at all. I am the same way!! It is a huge blessing.

Hi Shari!
I love it when I hear of people doing their life's calling and how wonderful it would be! I have been a legal assistant for 25 years and while many aspects of my job and employment are great, it's still not what I want to be when I grow up (and I will be 50 this year!)...I think what you are doing is so awesome and so helpful! Just wanted to say thanks too, I receieved my soft color swatches and love them, I am not buying any more black for sure! I love all the colors, especially the pinks and teals and blues! Thanks so much for those and for the printed cards that went with them. I have them all in my purse and will take shopping when buying anything new for spring!
Blessings,
Kelly
